Praised by The Times for the “purity” of his timbre, Chinese countertenor Zheng Jiang is an emerging artist on the operatic and concert stage.
Zheng’s 2026 highlights including making his company debut with The Mozartists for the Mozart Birthday Concert as a soloist at Cadogan Hall in January, followed by his role debut as Sesto in Giulio Cesare at The Grange Festival in June.
He makes his Salzburg Festival debut this summer performing role of Grimbald from Gordon Kampe’s King Arthur Junior . He is a Samling Artist and a 2026 Leeds Song Young Artist. From September, he joins the RCM International Opera Studio.
